Barcelona: Dani Alves has insisted that Barcelona can still qualify for the Champions League final at the expense of Chelsea. The Premier League side beat the Blaugrana 1-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie on Wednesday, but the Brazil international feels that everything is still possible.
"We still have a chance to qualify for the final, and now I just hope that our luck in front of goal changes," Dani Alves told reporters. "I'm sure that Chelsea's best player in their team was their goalkeeper, which says it all."
Fellow defender Carles Puyol felt that Barcelona deserved better at Stamford Bridge than a narrow loss, and urged the Barca fans to passionately support their team in the second leg. "We'll have to fight back at the Camp Nou after Wednesday's defeat," he added. "I think we deserved to win this game. We need the fans' help to get to the final in Munich."
The return takes place at Camp Nou on Tuesday.
