ISC Board Exam 2024: The Chemistry exam which was scheduled to be conducted today, February 26 has now been postponed to March 21 due to "unforeseen circumstances"

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has postponed the ISC chemistry exam 2024. The exam which was scheduled to be conducted today, February 26 has now been postponed to March 21 due to “unforeseen circumstances.” The exam will be held at 2 pm.

“Please note, the ISC Year 2024 Chemistry Paper 1 (Theory) Examination, scheduled for Monday, 26th February 2024, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. The ISC Year 2024 Chemistry Paper 1 (Theory) Examination has been rescheduled for Thursday, 21st March 2024, 2.00 P.M,” reads the official notice by the board.

Candidates who are set to appear for the Class 12 ISC board exams 2024 can view the notice on the CISCE official website at cisce.org. The Class 12 board exam began on February 12, 2024, and will run until April 3, 2024. The test is being conducted at 2 pm every day for a duration of three hours. Fifteen minutes are allotted for reading the question paper in addition to the exam time listed on the schedule.

ISC Board Exam 2024: How to Check Notice?

Step 1: Go to CISCE’s official website – cisce.org.

Step 2: From the home page, select the notification link.

Step 3: Click on the “Postponement of ISC Year 2024 Chemistry Paper 1 (Theory) Examination” link

Step 4: A fresh PDF file will appear, allowing applicants to review the notice of the new exam date

Step 5: Download and then print a copy for your future records.

The board exams for Class 10, or the ICSE started with the English Language paper on February 21, 2024 and will wrap up with the Art Paper 4 on March 28, 2024. The test will begin at 9 am for art papers and 11 am for every other subject. Exams in the arts subject will last three hours, while papers in other subjects will last two hours each.

As per the guidelines, students if caught cheating during the exam will be prohibited from taking any further exams. Students are not permitted to carry any electronic devices inside the exam hall, such as tablets, calculators, or mobile phones. The results of the ICSE and ISC board exams 2024 are likely to be released in May.
