The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is scheduled to conduct the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) for June 2024 tomorrow, July 6. This examination is intended for students who have completed their medical education abroad and aspire to practice medicine in India.

The FMGE June 2024 will be conducted in a computer-based mode in two shifts, from 9 am to 11:30 am and from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Earlier on June 3, the NBEMS also released the admit card for the FMGE in June 2024. Ahead of the examination, the NBEMS has announced a list of exam-day instructions for the students who are appearing for it.

Here’s a look at the advisory issued by NBEMS for the FMGE examination:

–– Admit cards must be printed on both sides of a single A4-sized sheet.

–– Candidates must arrive at their exam centres before their designated time to prevent delays.

–– All required documents must be brought to the examination centre for verification.

–– Students are prohibited from bringing certain items into the examination centre.

–– Bring supporting medical documents to use medication or medical devices inside the test centre.

–– Keep admit cards and identity cards readily accessible at all times inside the exam centre.

–– Candidates cannot enter the examination hall with coloured or hennaed hands, as it may interfere with finger biometric registration.

–– Maintain silence and discipline during the examination; raise your hand to summon the invigilator for assistance.

–– Complete the examination within the allocated time frame; refrain from speaking or looking at another candidate’s computer.

–– All candidates must cooperate with exam officials and follow their instructions; be wary of dishonest individuals offering unfair assistance during exams.

The notice has also mentioned that the exam centre will be under close surveillance and that any unfair practices will be dealt with strictly by the NBEMS.
