Aligarh Muslim University’s (AMU) counselling registrations commenced from July 4, 2024. Registration for the Round-1 counselling will be done by clicking on the AMU website amucontrollerexams.com. Post registration, students can fill a choice for allotment besides uploading documents on the website for verification purposes. This admission list will be issued based on choice filling. Students who will be allotted seats in the AMU will have to report and pay the admission fees. This counselling, which will be held in 3 rounds, and are being conducted for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Let’s get to know more about it in detail:
Round 1
1. The process of registration, document uploading and choice filling for round-1 counselling will continue till July 6.
2. After these steps have been completed, the document verification will take place from July 7 to 9.
3. Re-submission of documents will take place on July 10 and the second verification of submitted documents on July 11.
4. Firm List-1 Preparation and Exhibition- July 12-13, 2024
5. Fine with grace period- July 17
Round 2
1. Process of Registration, Uploading Documents, Choice Filling – July 18-19
2. Documents Verification- From July 20 to 21
3. Re-submission of documents-July 22
4. Re-verification of the submitted documents-July 23
5. Preparation and Exhibition of Firm List-2 Key-July 24
6. Admission Acceptance and Fee Payment – July 25
7. Fine with grace period-July 27
Round 3
1. Process of Registration, Uploading Documents, Choice Filling – July 28
2. Documents Verification- Till July 29
3. Re-submission of documents-July 30
4. Re-verification of documents submitted again-July 31
5. Preparation and Exhibition of Firm List-3 Keys-August 1
6. Admission Acceptance and Fee Payment-August 2
7. Fine with a grace period- August 3

For the academic session 2024-25, (AMU) has recently launched 31 new online courses which will commence on July 22. Out of the 31 courses, 28 are of 12-week duration, while the rest of the three are of eight-week duration.
