Having clean swept Pakistan earlier, Australia will be aiming to continue their sublime form against West Indies in the Test series scheduled to start from Wednesday. The first Test of the two-match series will be played at the Adelaide Oval.

Australia will head into the contest having blanked Pakistan 3-0 in their last assignment.

The hosts will be deploying Steve Smith as an opener who is moving up the batting order.

Smith will replace David Warner as Usman Khawaja’s opening partner in the series against West Indies. Allrounder Cameron Green will also make a return to the squad against the Caribbean side.

West Indies named seven uncapped players in their 15-man squad for the tour.

Led by Kraigg Brathwaite, the visitors will certainly have to come up with an inspired show to get the better of the Aussies in their own backyard.
