Mansoor Ali Khan has been making headlines ever since his controversial comment regarding Trisha went viral. Days after the Tamil actor apologised to his Leo co-star, he has now revealed that he will sue Trisha and file a defamation case against the actress. In an exclusive conversation with CNN News18, Khan revealed that he will file a case against Trisha later today.

“We are doing it (filing defamation case) today. We have prepared all the documents. (My) lawyer will share all other information later today at 4’o clock. He will meet the press,” Mansoor Ali Khan said. Asked about his apology, Khan added, “It is the biggest joke”.

What Did Mansoor Ali Khan Say Against Trisha?

Mansoor Ali Khan grabbed everyone’s attention after a video of the actor went viral on social media in which he said in Tamil, “When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought I would carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes and it’s not new to me. But these guys didn’t even show Trisha to me on the sets during the shoot in Kashmir.”

Earlier this month, Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to his X handle to share Mansoor Ali Khan’s statement. “My co-actress Trisha, Please forgive me!” a part of Khan’s statement read. The statement came after Khan was questioned with regard to the insensitive and derogatory comments he made against Trisha. He was booked under Section 354 A (sexual harassment) and Section 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to outrage modesty of woman) in the case. Later, Trisha also reacted to Mansoor Ali Khan’s apology. “To err is human,to forgive is divine,” she wrote.
