While announcing that GDP is expected to accelerate to 7.4% which will make India the fastest growing economy in the world, Jaitley credited the NDA government for the same.
New Delhi: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday claimed that the credibility of Indian economy has been re-established while presenting the first full Budget of the Narendra Modi government.
Taking a dig at the previous Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government, Jaitley said the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance inherited a sentiment of gloom and doom, but the country has come a long way from there.
While announcing that Gross Domestic Product is expected to accelerate to 7.4% which will make India the fastest growing economy in the world, Jaitley credited the NDA government for the same.
The GDP growth is expected to be 8-8.5% in 2015-16.
