Sara Ali Khan is known for being candid in interviews. In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, the actress responded to some interesting questions as part of a rapid fire round. When asked if she had dated a co-actor, she promptly admitted to it, answering with a straightforward “yes.” On being asked what comes to her mind when one mentions Kartik Aaryan, whom she was previously rumoured to be dating, she chose a safe answer and said, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa,” the title of the franchise Kartik stars in.

Sara also shared how she has saved the numbers of her dad, Saif Ali Khan, brother Ibrahim Ali Khan and stepmother Kareena Kapoor Khan on her phone. Saif’s number is saved as “Father,” Ibrahim’s as “Iggy,” a nickname he requested her not to disclose, and Kareena’s remains unchanged in her phonebook.

Talking about a rumour she would like to start about herself, Sara, a self-proclaimed Ranveer Singh fan joked, “That I am doing all of Ranveer Singh’s films!” She also fangirled over Ranveer Singh and reminded herself to “stop” it when she remembered he is expecting his first child with wife Deepika Padukone.

Sara recently starred in Ae Watan Mere Watan that is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. She plays Usha Mehta in the film, a character who fought for India’s Independence. News18 Showsha’s review of the film reads, “Sara Ali Khan delivers a commendable performance. She shines in most of the film, particularly in scenes with her father (Sachin Khedekar) and her bua. She singlehandedly holds the viewer’s attention in a long sequence where Usha does everything in her power to safeguard a transmitter from the police. While Sara’s performance is convincing overall, she occasionally lacks the required intensity in scenes demanding fiery passion.” Sara, during the chat, also revealed that she would now like to star in Indira Gandhi’s biopic. “I think it’d be nice,” she said.

Sara will also be seen in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino.
