Super compact car manufacturer smart has just launched a couple of new special edition models for fans of the brand, which are the BRABUS sport fortwo coupé and forfour Disturbing London editions. One of the great things about these cars is they have to represent some of the most affordable ways to get behind the wheel of a limited run BRABUS. The fortwo coupé costs from just £15,895, while one of the forfour versions will set you back just £16,390 in the UK. The production run is obviously limited, although what it's actually limited to isn't exactly clear at the moment, but customers can now place orders through the smart website or by getting in touch with any smart retailer or Pop-Up shop.
These new models are based on the BRABUS sport model line and feature black paint with some very attractive rose gold exterior and interior appointments and detailing. A 90 horsepower turbocharged petrol engine and six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is the standard powertrain for both models, which can deliver surprisingly agile performance in vehicles as small and light as these.
As well as the unique BRABUS detailing, rear parking sensors and the Premium equipment line are also part of the standard equipment in these special editions. For those not already aware, the Premium equipment line gets buyers the smart media package along with a height-adjustable steering wheel and driver's seat and electrically-adjustable exterior mirrors.
Disturbing London is the 360 entertainment company founded by none other than Dumi Oburota and Tinie Tempah, and these special editions were inspired by the existing collaboration between the companies and were unveiled at an exclusive event on July 12. The Disturbing London collaboration with smart was originally launched back in 2015 with a series of short online documentaries.
If you've previously flirted with the idea of a smart car but found them to be a little to "cutesy" for your liking, these could be the models you've been waiting for.
