Derbyshire: A girl in United Kingdom who was repeatedly raped by her father for several years still says she loves him. The man who cannot be named for legal reasons has been jailed for 15 years after fathering a child with his own daughter.
He started to sexually abuse his daughter when she was just 10-years-old. He also impregnated her when she was just a teenager as reported by Dailymail.
He was later arrested for raping her and the court awarded him life imprisonment. But when he was being led away from the dock the girl ran towards him, crying out: "I love you and miss you."
After raping her, the man would promise to stop abusing her. But he carried on his crazy sex drive until she became pregnant. In a bid to terminate the pregnancy without raising concern he encouraged his daughter to continue kick boxing.
Even the girl refused to tell authorities about the father of the baby, because she feared that it may result in breaking the love bond between her and the 'rapist father'. So they decided to flee but were arrested and the father was taken into custody.
Despite continuous rape by her father, she said in a court that she feared the outcome of any kind of disclosure because she loved her dad as she had grown up with her dad by her side.
Judge Stuart Rafferty, who heard the case, said, "She loved you, as any child loves its parents, and although people may think it strange, she loves you still - that's what children do."
