Vijay Chauthiawale observed the U.S. Presidential elections closely, watching as an “outsider” took the lead over the “nasty woman”. The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Foreign Affairs department head confesses that he doesn’t know what worked for the President elect, but he could sense it coming.
“It is difficult to say what worked for Trump,” said Chauthiawale, the man tasked with reaching out to Non-Resident Indians for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. When asked if the U.S. Presidential elections 2016 reminded him of the 2014 Indian General Elections, he said, “yes, but there was also the issue of corruption, which is not there the U.S. Like them we wanted an outsider to fix it, but Trump is a complete outsider, compared to Narendra Modi who was the Chief Minister of Gujarat.”
