Death toll in Nepal due to the devastating earthquake that hit the country, today rose to 1,900 with over 700 casualties in Kathmandu Valley alone. A 7.9-magnitude earthquake jolted the Himalayan nation on Saturday followed by several aftershocks and left a trail of death and destruction, flattening houses and buildings, including the iconic Dharhara tower and the landmark Darbar Square in the heart of the capital.
