Zerodha's Nithin Kamath Takes Part In Impromptu Push-Up Challenge At Work
In the video, Nithin Kamath can be seen participating in the push-up challenge with other colleagues.

Nithin Kamath, the co-founder and CEO of Zerodha, recently participated in an impromptu training session with his co-workers. The session was organised in collaboration with Zerodha’s startup capital fund and incubator, Rainmatter, and Sister In Sweat, a women’s sports health network. Kamath shared a video of the workout session on X and wrote, “Impromptu AMRAP workout when @sistersinsweat.in were at work. 1 min x push-ups.”

The video shows a woman leading the charge of mass push-ups. Among them, Kamath can also be seen participating. The video has left many social media users amused with many praising his efforts to keep his employees healthy.

A user commented, “Nithin understands this very well, if he keeps his employee active and not boring. They will continue to work and deliver results. At the workplace, make the work interesting.”

“That’s great initiative! Everyone should follow!” read another comment.

A third user said, “Preventive steps for one’s health is quite like systematic disciplined investment! Hamara swasthya hamari Zimmedaari.. so much more to do.”

Kamath is well-known for pushing Zerodha staff to be healthy and active by providing rewards for meeting fitness objectives. In 2022, he implemented a scheme in which employees may receive a month’s wage bonus provided they achieved their targets for fitness and health on 90% of the days of the year.

Kamath posted on X saying, “Min of 350 active calories/day, in any form.”

He stated that because most of us work from home and sitting is becoming an epidemic, Zerodha is doing everything they can to encourage everyone on the teams, as well as their families, to exercise every day.

Though a fitness devotee, Kamath disclosed in February that he suffered from a “mild stroke” in an unexpected revelation. Kamath did not specify a precise reason, but indicated that a number of variables may have led to the occurrence.

The young entrepreneur said that his recovery time might range from three to six months.

Initially shocked that he could be impacted even though he was fit, Kamath revealed his doctor’s thoughts on the potential cause of his illness, emphasising the need of knowing when to reduce intense exercise. He admitted to feeling “slightly broken,” but stayed devoted to his workout routine.
