As kids, we were told stories of long-lost treasure, hidden away in faraway lands, when a group of brave hearts ventured to those very regions to get a hold of it. A video is making rounds on social media, capturing men showing off the ornaments they discovered beneath the earth, similar to a lost treasure.
The treasure hunt video was shared on Instagram by an account called @felezyeb_tecno, where a man digs up a hole in the ground, only to find “treasures”. The clip starts with an aerial shot, showing two men digging around a boulder, using the tools. When the area around it is loose enough, they flip the rock over using their legs. Then they brush the remaining mud in the ground from their hands, only to reveal a clay pot.
The men dig some more around the pot, finding another little metal pot. From the smaller pot, they take out some metal ornaments, seemingly jewellery. After that, the clay pot is removed entirely from the ground and the highlight of the utensil is the ancient-looking figures etched onto its exterior. One by one, the finders reveal interesting-looking “treasures” from it. The first ornament is revealed to be a unique-looking key, then a small gold-coloured statue and at last another mini clay pot with a key stuck in it.
Netizens reacted to the video in the comments below, many questioning its authenticity. The first user asked in Russian, which roughly translates to, “And will anyone believe this?” A second user claimed, “Everything is fake.” And a third user had a similar opinion, “A lie, it’s a fake.” While the fourth netizen shared, “You found the key to the lost secret gold temple.”
Back in May, a similar video went viral online, which showed the treasure hunters digging up a gold bracelet from a wall of mud. It was viewed more than a million times on Instagram, shared by the account @maga_official0939.
