This Is Not A Drill: Elon Musk Is Ready To Fight Mark Zuckerberg Anywhere, Anytime
Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg’s public feud began with the launch of X’s rival Threads and grew after Meta’s Threads platform achieved initial success in July 2023.

Tech magnate Elon Musk has once again thrown down the gauntlet to CEO and founder of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, saying he is prepared to fight “anywhere, anytime.” The announcement was made on March 5 and created a stir on social media, arousing curiosity and conjecture among online users. Elon Musk made his audacious declaration in response to a user’s post on the X (Formerly Twitter) platform, wherein the user described a conversation with a tour guide who jokingly broached the subject of a showdown between the two tech titans. The user wrote about his trip to the Colosseum in Rome (Italy), and tagged Musk.

“After the tour, I asked the tour guide about the Elon vs Zuck fight and he laughed and said ‘That’s something we would love to see’. He then proceeded to bring up and briefly talk about dogecoin so I tipped him some doge afterwards. It was absolutely amazing,” the user shared on X.

Elon Musk quickly responded to the challenge, stating that he is ready to engage in a no-holds-barred confrontation with Mark Zuckerberg. He responded enthusiastically, reigniting discussions about their feud that began in 2023. “I’m ready to fight Zuck anywhere, anytime, with any rules. LFG!!!,” commented the CEO of Tesla Motors.

This big announcement reignited speculation about the highly anticipated clash, which first gained traction in June 2023 when Elon Musk criticised Meta’s foray into social media with a Twitter (now X) competitor.

“I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options. At least it will be ‘sane’. Was worried there for a moment,” Elon Musk responded to news of Meta’s venture.

Amidst the light-hearted banter, one user facetiously forewarned Elon Musk about Mark Zuckerberg’s alleged jiu-jitsu prowess. Musk casually offered to settle the dispute in a cage match. In response to this exchange, Zuckerberg entered the debate and shared a screenshot of Musk’s challenge along with the terse instruction, “send location”.

Online rumours about whether or not the fight will take place have been sparked by the back and forth. Even though the tone appears lighthearted, it’s unclear if the tech behemoths will actually resolve their differences in the octagon.
