'Kal Toh Aaunga Bhi Nahi': Class 8 Student’s WhatsApp Chat With Teacher Is Trending
The conversation shows a class 8 student’s enthusiastic update about his workout regimen to his teacher, which has sparked a flurry of reactions online.

A recent WhatsApp conversation between a teacher and a class 8 student has sparked considerable debate online. Shared on Reddit by the teacher’s cousin, the exchange captures the student’s excitement about his workout routine. In the chat, the student enthusiastically describes his ab workout, which includes “crunches, high knees and planks,” all noted down on a piece of paper.

He proudly mentions that his dedication has led to noticeable muscle gain, which is evident by his new T-shirt which is two sizes larger. The teacher responds with encouragement, saying, “Ohoo congratulations.” However, the conversation takes a playful turn when the student replies, “Are mai khud shock hu. Kal toh aaunga bhi nahi (I am so shocked myself. I won’t even come tomorrow).”

The Redditor, who shared the chat, revealed that the student reached out to the teacher with various things.

“Screenshot of whatsapp chat between my Cousin (A school Teacher) and her Student. So this guy almost message her everyday…with a new topic or ask stuff life dinner karliya. This is what he sent last night. My cousin usually give cold replies to him…I have told her to not reply him at all . But I don’t know ..she told me ki wo gussa hojayega (she told me that he will get angry),” the Redditor wrote.

The snapshot of the conversation has generated a range of responses, with some arguing that the teacher should enforce clearer boundaries.

One user advised, “Ask your cousin to establish some boundaries.”

Another in disbelief at the interaction, commented, “Can’t believe it’s chat between teacher and student. I mean “Are” Kon kehta teacher ko. And “vo gussa ho jayega” (he will get angry). Wth (What the hell).”

Someone noted, “When I was in 8th, we had no link between us and teachers outside school hours.”

A commenter bluntly stated, “Dude she should be the one to be angry.”

“Dude this ain’t normal tbh agar koi 1st, 2nd class ka bacha aisi hurkat kare toh it’s understandable but 8th class mai itni level ki rational thinking toh aa jaati hai ki teacher ko aise message na kare (Dude, this is not normal honestly. If a child in 1st or 2nd grade acted this way, it might be understandable but by the 8th grade, students gain enough rational thinking to know not to send messages like this to their teacher),” a user shared.

An individual remarked, “I guess your cousin is the loneliest person on earth if she’s entertaining that kid,” and another wrote, “Your cousin is setting herself for unemployment at best and a massive case at worst.”
