Desis possess an innate talent for deploying their sharp, ‘Jugaadu’ minds wherever they find themselves. However, one uncle recently not only dispelled any lingering doubts about Desi Jugaads but also expanded the horizons, showcasing the extent of Indian ingenuity. And what was his feat, you ask? Well, nothing too extravagant—he simply acquired a free eye mask during an IndiGo flight. Yet, the manner in which he utilised it has set the internet ablaze with amusement, spreading laughter far and wide.
In a snapshot shared on ‘X’ by user @outofofficedaku, an uncle was caught in the act, peacefully dozing in the middle seat of a row. His face was shielded not by a conventional eye mask, but by the headrest cover adorned with the ‘IndiGo’ logo, a spot usually reserved for ‘common’ travellers to lean on. Yes, he positioned his face beneath the headrest cover and ingeniously prevented it from slipping off by securing his spectacles above it. LOL-worthy, indeed!

“Indigo will charge 100 Rs if someone wants to use the back rest cover as eye shield,” joked one user. Another added, “Bad idea to share this Photo here @IndiGo6E may start charging Pax for using this.”
Undoubtedly, skincare enthusiasts would recoil at the thought, considering the potential presence of someone else’s dandruff, oil, and who-knows-what-else on that cover!
But, if you’re tempted to invest in your own personal headrest, fear not— won’t break the bank; it’ll merely cost you a Re.1 coin! (Yes, that’s how affordable it is.)
