How Will IPL Players React After Receiving Their Swiggy Orders? This Video Is A Real Deal
Swiggy India, collaborating with an influencer, created a parody video of IPL stars. Take a look.

With the Indian Premier League (IPL) underway, Swiggy India has been creating several cricket-related content to entertain fans on social media. The food delivery company recently collaborated with an influencer, Jagyot Singh, to make a parody skit, which showed how different IPL players would react upon receiving their orders. The video featured a group of boys, who portrayed the character of some big names in the Indian cricket circuit. Jagyot dropped the video on Instagram and it took no time to go viral. The caption of the post read, “Kya order kiya hoga sabne? batado jaldi se (What might have they ordered? Guess quickly)”.

The clip begins with a guy, who donned the Mumbai Indians kit to become Rohit Sharma. The delivery partner was about to hand over the food when suddenly the parody version of Hardik Pandya entered the scene.

The duo then recreated a controversial moment that transpired in the match against Gujarat Titans. Pandya was spotted asking Rohit to go near the boundary line which many fans didn’t take lightly. Here in the video, the man portraying Pandya took the order while calling himself the captain.

In the next frame, Jagyot turned Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant. The delivery partner was seen asking Pant about his health condition which got a sarcastic reply from the Indian batter. The parody Pant said, “I couldn’t pick up and carry the parcel on my own earlier. But now, I am capable of doing that and even hitting the ball outside the ground.”

Next came Virat Kohli, whom the delivery partner greeted with a familiar question– “Will Royal Challengers Bengaluru win this year?” Kohli was quick to mention the franchise’s Women’s Premier League (WPL) triumph. The delivery boy then asked about the chance of the men’s team and the parody Kohli replied, “Yes yes, we will win.”

Jagyot appeared in a Chennai Super Kings jersey in the following frame and also wore a wig to become MS Dhoni. The delivery agent asked the veteran cricketer, “Sir, you are still here?” Joking about his iconic jersey number, Dhoni said that he would like to win seven IPL titles, meaning he would need to feature in the tournament for at least two more seasons.

At the end of the video, the influencer took on the persona of Kolkata Knight Riders mentor Gautam Gambhir. The delivery boy asked the character if he had ordered a burger or fries. In response, Gambhir, in a serious mood, said, “Dal Chawal (Rice and lentils).”

The parody skit has received more than 10 million views on Instagram. It has also garnered more than 7,80,000 likes, with users praising the content creator for his acting and expression.
