Time travel has always intrigued science fiction enthusiasts, many of whom claim to have found evidence of the phenomenon existing. These enthusiasts, who let their imaginations fly, are fuelled by a barrage of science fiction movies, series and novels. However, modern science debunks any theories regarding time travel. Today, we will show you yet another instance where someone has come up with evidence of time travel and it is up to you to decide whether it is for real or not.
The evidence has been provided by YouTuber Jamie D Grant, who shared an interesting story on his YouTube channel. The video was shared 11 years ago but it is going viral once again. It all started when he and his wife visited a bookstore and his wife pulled an old book out of the shelf. It had a picture from 107 years ago, from the year 1917.
Several men wearing bowler hats and attire that defined the common trend from the early 20th century are seen in the video, along with women in long skirts, sitting in a group. But there is one man, who is completely set apart from the rest. The man is seen wearing a t-shirt. Yes, a t-shirt in 1917 and that is not all. He is wearing shorts and has his hair stylishly combed without a hat, unlike others from the group.
In other words, the man looks nothing like someone from 1917 and instead looks like he is straight out of the 21st century. What is more mysterious is the fact that some people are visibly perplexed with the man in t-shirts and are seen pointing fingers at him while the man right beside him is looking at him in astonishment.
Jamie D Grant believes the man is a possible time traveler but many skeptics debunked the theory saying that t-shirts had already been under production by 1917. The man has been dubbed the ‘surfer man’ by internet users. If you want to look at the photo clearly, the book is Lester Ray Peterson’s 1974 historical book, The Great Cape Scott Story.
