Among other popular names, Rithvikk Dhanjani was rumoured to be joining the reality show. But recently, the actor has denied all reports about his involvement in Bigg Boss 18. He took to social media to clarify that these reports are false and that he was not up for the competition.

Requesting the media Please let’s not make incorrect headlines with my name, there’s enough good things to talk about.” His statement confirmed that he has no plans of entering the Bigg Boss house this season.

Rithvikk Dhanjani was last seen on Zakir Khan’s show Aapka Apna Zakir on Sony TV. “People have seen my funny side and the comedy I do as a host or on any other show, but here I will take my humour game ahead. Prior to that, Rithvik hosted Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. He rose to prominence as Arjun in Pavitra Rishta and has hosted a number of successful reality shows such as India’s Best Dramebaaz and Super Dancer.

Meanwhile, many other prominent personalities, including Nia Sharma, Shoaib Ibrahim, Karanveer Mehra, Shehzada Dhami, Chahat Pandey, Avinash Mishra, Nyrra Banerjee, Kashish Kapoor and Digvijay Rathee, are expected to be seen on the show as per multiple reports.

Each season, we re-write the definition of entertainment and this year is no exception,” Salman Khan told Bollywood Hungama speaking about the changes made in the format this year.

Bigg Boss 18 is expected to premiere on October 6 on Colors TV and will be available to stream on Jio Cinema.
