Archana Puran Singh is the ultimate entertainer, and her work over the years has been nothing short of commendable. She has worked in scores of films and has become a prominent personality in the realm of comedy. While the actress seems to have an outgoing and fun loving personality, her journey was not an easy ride. Recently, she opened up about her mental health issues. Not only did she share her personal experience, Archana took the opportunity to motivate others who are going through a similar crisis.
Sharing her ordeal on social media, Archana stated the difference in perspective that has come over generations when dealing with anxiety issues. She stated, “Today they call it anxiety. Back in my day it was a normal state of being before an exam, an event, a date…Nobody asked us how we felt. We ourselves didn’t question the frequent knot in our stomachs!! We just soldiered on. It was just another day, and sometimes an almost constant state of being for long periods of time.” She added that she describes her life “as a very happy one…even through the tough times.” and that those facing similar issues would find equilibrium as well. She expressed, “The rocky times are for building your character. Let them do their job. You can choose to just count the happy moments. And declare your life to be a happy one. I do.”

Although Archana Puran Singh gave her advice on how to handle anxiety in daily life, in the caption, the actress added that she is no expert in the matter but speaks only from her experiences. She mentioned that the way she handles her anxiety helps her perform better,
“It is sometimes my best friend in doing a job well. But this ‘friend’ also keeps me awake when I want to sleep early! Nonetheless, I don’t focus on it. I choose instead to focus on all the good things that happen every day in my life.”
Concluding her inspiring post, the actress was going to post it as a story, but her son motivated her to upload it on her feed as someone out there could benefit from reading it. The actress stated that she is able to help others through this; it would indeed be a fulfilling moment for her. Interestingly, many of her followers thanked her for sharing her experience publicly.
Archana Puran Singh is currently seen on the Netflix comedy special The Great Indian Kapil Show.
