Over a month after Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT season 2, the YouTuber has now left everyone shocked by making a big revelation. Elvish recently graced Shehnaaz Gill’s chat show when he claimed that he has not yet received Rs 25 lakh Bigg Boss OTT 2 cash prize amount.
It all started after Shehnaaz Gill asked Elvish when he was buying a third phone since he was already carrying two. To this, Elvish shared that he already has three phones. “When are you buying the fourth one?” Shehnaaz then asked following which Elvish replied, “Chautha bhi lenge (will buy the fourth one too), jab bigg boss vaale Rs 25 lakh bhej denge (When the makers of Bigg Boss will send me Rs 25 lakh)”.
Elvish Yadav’s revelation left even Shehnaaz Gill shocked who then said, “Ye toh galat hai (This is wrong).”
Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2 in August this year. He created history by becoming the first wildcard contestant to have won the show ever. Following the finale episode, Elvish claimed that he created history by gaining 28 crore votes in just 15 minutes. However, he has now said that he had doubts about winning the show.
“Earlier, I believed that it is their rule only that they won’t make a wild card entrant the winner. When I got the entry, I asked them at least 100 times, ‘Bhai, vote ka hi hai na (The winner will be decided through votes only, right)? I hope it is not a rule that despite wild card getting votes, he cannot win.’ They said, ‘Wild card ko jitayenge agar votes mile toh (We will make the wild card contestant the winner if he gets votes),” he said.
Elvish was followed by Abhishek Malhan who was the first runner-up of the show. Manisha Rani, Pooja Bhatt and Bebika Dhruve were also the finalists.
