Abhishek Kumar, the runner-up of Bigg Boss 17, discussed about his journey inside the house. Reflecting on his experience, he acknowledged his mother’s advice, emphasising on the significance of patience and respect. During an interview with Etimes, Abhishek admitted his regrets for using harsh words, especially towards fellow contestants, Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel. The actor siad, “Yes, I regret saying nasty things to Isha during fights. There were instances when she started, and now I feel I shouldn’t have opened my mouth.” Abhishek opened up about the impact of personal attacks during conflicts and expressed a desire to handle situations differently, stressing on the importance of restraint in tense moments.
Abhishek, who secured the position of the first runner-up in the popular reality show, expressed heartfelt thanks towards actor Riteish Deshmukh for the support he received during challenging tenure inside the house. Riteish Deshmukh, along with other celebrities, had taken a stand for Abhishek on patform X (Formerly Twitter) when Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel mocked about his mental health.

Abhishek, in response to Riteish Deshmukh’s support, said, “Mujhe pata chala ki Riteish sir ne mere liye likha tha, Riteish sir thank you so much, Matlab acha lagta hai jab itne bade bade naam aap ko jante hai ki haan yaha tak pahuch Gaya.” (I was told that Ritiesh Sir has extended his support to me. Thank you so much sir. It feels tremendously good when you realise such big names know about you.)
Despite not winning the trophy, Abhishek expressed happiness for Munawar Faruqui, the winner of Bigg Boss 17, and stated that Munawar was a deserving contestant. Abhishek mentioned that winning hearts was satisfying even if the trophy eluded him.
