New Delhi: After teasing it for quite some time, Lenovo has finally introduced its first smartphone of this year. Named the Vibe K4 Note, the new phone is the successor to the K3 Note, which was introduced in India in June last year.

The highlight of the Vibe K4 Note is that it is powered by a TheaterMax technology, which, as the company explains, "is an immersive large screen experience on smartphones powered by Lenovo Virtual Reality (VR) technology."

Lenovo's Vibe K4 Note is claimed to be the world's first smartphone to be launched with TheaterMax. One can now convert any multimedia content on the Vibe K4 Note into an immersive one, giving users a virtual cinematic experience when viewed through a VR headset, says Lenovo.

The Vibe K4 Note is available exclusively on Amazon India. The phone is priced at Rs 11,999 and will be available in Tuxedo Black colour. If bought with the ANTVR headset, the combo (K4 Note and VR headset) will cost Rs 12,499. Registrations for the first flash sale, which will take place on January 19, have begun.

The phone features a 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs Android 5.1 operating system. It is engineered with a 64-bit MediaTek octa-core processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. The K4 Note has an internal storage of 16GB, which can be further expanded using a microSD card of up to 128 GB.

The new dual SIM (LTE + LTE) Lenovo phone sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with a dual-tone LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. It is packed with a 3300 mAh battery.
