Samsung announced its new Galaxy AI with the Galaxy S24 series this week and now reports suggest the company will ensure that more users get a taste of its AI smartness. The Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and the S24 Ultra are confirmed to get the new AI features that includes live translation, AI summarising tool and photo editing chops. But there are older Samsung devices waiting in the wings to get their share of AI.
It has been pointed out that Samsung will be offering the Galaxy AI to those using the Galaxy S23 series, which includes the Galaxy S23 FE model. Samsung has also confirmed the big news of 7 years of OS upgrades and security updates starting with the Galaxy S24 lineup.
The company has also talked about supporting on-device AI processing, for which, it has partnered with Google for its Gemini large language model to build the AI capabilities into the Galaxy AI ecosystem.
