New Delhi: LG's first modular smartphone, the LG G5, has made its much-awaited debut in India. First unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the phone is priced at Rs 52,990.
The LG G5 features a 5.3-inch Quad HD IPS display and under its hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor coupled with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM. It comes with an always-on display that allows users to view notifications time, date and other information without waking the device.
The phone further includes 32 GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card. The LG G5 includes dual rear cameras- 16 megapixel as standard and 8 megapixel wide angle coupled with an 8 megapixel front camera.
The LG G5 is powered by Android Marshmallow, supports 4G LTE, comes with a USB Type-C connector and draws its juice from a 2800mAh removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0. The phone is available in Silver, Titan, and Gold colour options. It will be sold through an e-commerce portal.
