Huawei sub-brand Honor is reportedly bringing a much-anticipated software update to its mid-range smartphone, the Honor 7X. As the company had promised a few weeks back, the Honor 7X will now be receiving Face Unlock feature. In addition, the software upgrade will enable AR Lens to the selfie camera of the smartphone as well as bring Google’s Android security patch released in the month January. As of now, the software update is being made available to the Chinese units of the Honor 7X.
From its many model numbers sold across the globe, the first one to roll out with the new software features will be the B192. As per a report, the software update is also available for the model AL10.

Honor introduced the Face Unlock feature to its smartphone line-up with the Honor View 10. With this update, the latest security feature will now be trickled down to its more budget-friendly offering. Apart from some impressive features like the Face Unlock and the AR Lens, there are no major changes carried by the new software.
