As part of its F8 Developer conference, the world's largest social network announced huge changes to how programmers can access Facebook's systems for sharing video.
Once in place and once developers start exploiting them, the changes in Facebook's API will mean that potentially anyone with any type of video device will be able to stream content directly to Facebook - be it a phablet with a 4G connection, a drone or a security camera set up at home.
