Alleged Xiaomi Redmi 6 With Notch Display, Vertical Dual Camera Spotted on TENAA
Xiaomi might be coming up with the successors to its Redmi series soon with a new smartphone.

Xiaomi might be gearing up to unveil new smartphones under its Redmi series soon. As per a recent listing on TENAA, a new mid-range Xiaomi smartphones is underway and is expected to make its appearance in Xiaomi's global markets soon. Along with images and several specifications, the listing reveals that the devices will come with a notch display and a dual camera setup at the back.

The listing under the model number M1805D1SE has been spotted recently on TENAA. The listing is expected to be that of the Redmi 6 and reveals a vertical dual camera setup at the back of the smartphone. As per the listing, the smartphone will come with a 5.84-inches display with a 2280x1080 pixels resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. It will run Android 8.1 Oreo OS and will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core processor which is expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. The listing also reveals a 3900mAh battery backing the device.

The model has been listed in several memory variants including 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB RAM options and 16GB/ 32GB/ 64GB internal storage. It will come with a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The device measures 149.33x71.68x75mm and weighs 178 grams, hinting at it being the successor to Xiaomi's Redmi 5 due to an almost similar size.

Xiaomi has used a trending notch style display at the front of the smartphone surrounded by a prominent bezel at the chin and thin edges on the sides. The device carries a look similar to the Redmi Note 5 for the back of the device. A similar vertical dual camera setup can be seen on the top-left along with a fingerprint sensor at the middle.

Following the listing on TENAA, the smartphone is anticipated to be launched in the Chinese market first. The company has not confirmed anything about the smartphone till date though, including the name of the device.
