In a shocking incident from Maharashtra’s Pune, BJP MLA Sunil Kamble was spotted slapping a police personnel during an event at Sassoon Hospital on Friday.
A video of the incident has caught attention on social media where the MLA was seen losing his balance while leaving the stage. Soon, he turns and slaps the on-duty police personnel standing there, in a fit of rage.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was present on the same stage at the time of the incident. Medical Education Minister Hassan Mushrif, and MP Sunil Tatkare were also among the ones present at the event.
As per an Indian Express report, the police official is said to be attached with Bundgarden Police Station.
It has also been reported that Kambale was unhappy with his name not being mentioned on the invite for the event as well as on the backdrop at the event stage, despite being the local MLA from the Pune Cantonment constituency, the Express report quoted.
A complaint regarding the alleged assault was lodged by the constable, following which, a case has been registered against Kamble under section 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) of the Indian Penal Code.
Refuting the allegations, Kamble said, “I did not assault anyone. I was coming down the steps when someone came in the way. I pushed him and went ahead.”
