Sushma Swaraj removes her designation from Twitter profile, later adds it

New Delhi: Mired in controversy, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj removed her designation from her Twitter profile but later added it.

The minister bio changed from 'Foreign Minister, Government of India,' to no post in the Narendra Modi Cabinet and then back to the same in around one hour.

Sushma has been under Congress's attack and the party is firm on its demand for her resignation in the Lalit Modi row. Sushma had admitted to having no objection to former Indian Premier League chief Lalit Modi's request to travel out of the UK for his wife's treatment.

Sushma had tweeted admitting that she spoke to this effect with British MP Keith Vaz and the British High Commissioner.
