188. Rajpur is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Khargone (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Rajpur falls in Badwani district and Malwa Tribal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,22,478 voters in the seat, which includes 1,13,627 male voters, and 1,08,847 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Rajpur recorded a voter turnout of 79.42%. In 2013 the turnout was 77.8%, and in 2008 it was 75.73%.
In 2013, Bala Bachchan of INC won the seat by a margin of 11,196 votes (6.73%). Bala Bachchan secured 49.39% of the total votes polled.
