New Delhi: Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi has favoured seeking people's views while formulating the party's manifesto for 2014 Lok Sabha elections, party sources said. Gandhi, during a close-door meet, said that people's views should be incorporated in the manifesto and it should not be prepared on the basis of people sitting in offices.
Gandhi has made a big suggestion and Congress manifesto will be "people's manifesto", a Congress leader said on Saturday. The Congress, earlier in July 2013, fulfilled one of the major promises of its 2009 election manifesto with the national Food Security ordinance.
The BJP has set up a committee to form election manifesto for the 2014 general elections.
