New Delhi: 4:00 pm: Lok Sabha adjourned for the day following uproar over Telangana decision.

3:30 pm: Food Security Bill has been taken up for discussion in Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, Andhra MPs protested against Telangana decision.

2:45 pm: The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 3 pm after some MPs protested against Telangana soon after the Food Security Bill was taken up for discussion.

2:30 pm: BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj raised Robert Vadra lands deal issue at the all party meeting. She said that the government should allow it to be raised in Parliament.

1:40 pm: Congress leader Manish Tewari said, "An individual cannot be discussed in Parliament. This is BJP's 'cheap politics'. He also said that Food Security Bill will not become a casualty because of disruptions.

1:00 pm: The Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till 2 pm over the Robert Vadra lands deal issue. Robert Vadra is son-in-law of Congress Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

12:32 pm: The Congress has issued a gag order on Robert Vadra land deals. Only designated Congress leaders are allowed to speak on the issue.

12:15 pm: Amidst uproar over Vadra land deals, the Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 2 pm while the Rajya Sabha has been adjourned for 30 minutes.

12:09 pm: The BJP continues demanding a discussion and probe into Vadra land deals. "A scam is concerning all of us, we want some answers," said BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy in the Rajya Sabha. This was followed by an uproar in the House.

12:04 pm: The BJP MPs objected to the Rajya Sabha Chairperson calling members 'anarchists'. "The Rajya Sabha Speaker should reconsider calling members 'anarchist'," BJP leader Arun Jaitley said.

11:55 am: BJP leader Yashwant Sinha has demanded an SIT probe into Vadra land deals. "A multi-disciplinary team monitored by the Supreme Court should probe this. Without any investment you can make money, that's a unique model," he said.

He said Vadra has made a mockery of every law of the land. "The Congress disrupted us, Parliamentary Affairs Minister was himself in the well of the House," Sinha accused.

11:22 am: Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 12 pm after the Opposition MPs levelled charges against UPA that it is not allowing to discuss the Vadra land deal case with the support of its allies.

11:03 am: Just minutes after discussion started in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, Chairman Hamid Ansari adjourned the House after Opposition MPs started shouting slogans and tried to raise the Robert Vadra land deal. Meanwhile, discussion continues in Lok Sabha amid slogans of 'We want justice' in the context of Kishtwar violence, which has hit Jammu and Kashmir form the last few days.

The issue of Kishtwar violence rocked both Houses of Parliament on Monday. Following an uproar over the issue, the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha was adjourned several times on Monday. Minister of State for Home Affairs RPN Singh is likely to make a statement in Parliament over the issue.

In a direct fallout of Friday's clashes in Kishtwar, all national highways leading to Jammu are now shut. Mobile and internet services were disconnected on Monday while schools and colleges remained shut.

The curfew, which was imposed on Sunday continues in seven districts across the state on Monday. However, the curfew in Udhampur has been relaxed.

Meanwhile, officials say that the situation is under control while patrolling is on in tense areas. "The situation is under control and patrolling will continue till the situation gets better. This is to protect people. No untoward incident was reported on Sunday night. If the situation gets under control we can think of giving relief in curfew to people," DIG Shakeel Begh said.

Violence erupted on Friday after Eid prayers in Kishtwar as two communities clashed with each other. The clashes in Kishtwar have left three people dead and 30 injured.

Clashes between two communities affected traffic on Srinagar-Jammu-Pathankot national highway on Sunday, forcing Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to appeal for peace.

"I am using the channels of the media to appeal to the people of Jammu and Kashmir not to fall prey to rumours and allow these political parties to exploit the sentiment," Omar said.

The BJP has called for a bandh across Jammu on Monday. Separatist leader Yasin Malik has also called for a peace march in Srinagar.
