Amidst a political turmoil in Bihar, CM Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the ninth time on Sunday after a political turmoil in the state. The CM’s JD(U) joined the NDA Alliance after exiting the Mahagathbandhan with the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
After the oath ceremony, Kumar told media that, “I came back to where I was (NDA) and now there is no question of going anywhere else.”
The chief minister’s switch comes as a big blow to the RJD as the party gets kicked overnight out of power. Meanwhile, former Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday said that the game is still on in Bihar. He also said that the quality of education and health has improved a lot under RJD and the people of the state are with them.
Dismissing Tejashwi’s statements, Nitish Kumar said JD(U) will continue to work for the development and the progress of Bihar.
