Polling for 270 out of 272 wards across three corporations was held on April 23 which saw a voter turnout of 53.58%.
The BJP came back to power in the North Delhi Municipal Corporation by winning 66 wards. The Aam Aadmi Party, which was debuting in the MCD polls, was a distant second with 20, wards while the Congress got 15. In 2012, the North Corporation had gone to the BJP which won 59 wards and the Congress had got 29. Polling for 270 out of 272 wards across three corporations was held on April 23 which saw a voter turnout of 53.58%.
