32. Lunglei West is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Mizoram and is part of Mizoram Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Lunglei West falls in Lunglei district and South region of Mizoram. It is categorised as a urban seat.
There are a total of 14,303 voters in the seat, which includes 6,846 male voters, and 7,457 female voters. In the 2018 Mizoram elections, Lunglei West recorded a voter turnout of 80.4%. In 2013 the turnout was 85.02%, and in 2008 it was 82.5%.
In 2013, Chalrosanga Ralte of INC won the seat by a margin of 94 votes (0.84%). Chalrosanga Ralte secured 46.27% of the total votes polled.
MNF won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 723 votes (7.1%), registering 40.84% of the total votes polled.
