LS polls: 81.08 per cent polling recorded in Tripura

Agartala: High voter turnout was witnessed in one Lok Sabha constituency of Tripura with 81.08 per cent polling taking place on Saturday.

Over 56.35 per cent voters cast their votes till noon in East Tripura (ST) Lok Sabha constituency, election officials said here.

Nine EVMs malfunctioned in the early hours in some polling stations and were replaced immediately.
