20. Koratla is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Telangana and is part of Nizamabad Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Koratla falls in Jagtial district and North Telangana region of Telangana. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,91,394 voters in the seat, which includes 92,710 male voters, and 98,684 female voters. In the 2018 Telangana elections, Koratla recorded a voter turnout of 75.55%. In 2014 the turnout was 68.97%.
In 2014, Kalvakuntla Vidya Sagar Rao of TRS won the seat by a margin of 20,585 (13.67%). Kalvakuntla Vidya Sagar Rao secured 39.1% of the total votes polled.
