Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda will meet former central coal minister and Jharkhand Mutkti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren on Thursday in the Dumka Central Jail, government sources said.
"The chief minister will be on an official visit to inspect Dumka jail," an official said.
The JMM leader is reportedly unhappy over the functioning of the state government and has asked the chief minister to improve governance.
Meanwhile, Jharkhand ministers, legislators and workers of JMM are making a beeline for Dumka jail to meet the jailed leader.
Soren is serving life imprisonment for the murder of his personal secretary Shashinath Jha in 1995.
Soren, who was arrested in New Delhi, will remain in Jharkhand until the trial gets completed of two murder cases.
