Mahendragarh: Politics is all about throwing barbs at each other and the election season is the peak time to point fingers at each other. In a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his plans about development, Akhil Bharatiya Congress Mahasamiti member Deshbandhu Kaushik went ahead and made personal attacks on him.

"Modi first got married and then left his wife to join the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh. It was also on his behest that a woman was spied upon as he suspected that she had links with a senior IAS officer," he said while speaking to IBNLive in Mahendragarh.

Kaushik brushed aside all developments plans of Modi as rubbish and claimed, "He is a thief, a criminal. All that he knows is to fill his coffers. There has been no development in Gujarat."

He also blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party for created hatred among communities and inciting communal violence. "It is only because of such people that five people in Haryana died in the recent incident where they were merely protesting for electricity. The BJP only believes in vote bank politics and can go to any extent to garner the votes."

Blatantly rubbishing any 'Modi wave' in Haryana, Kaushik added that Modi never had an impact in Haryana and will never be able to have one too. He went on to say that Modi became the Prime Minister as he was given a lot of importance by the media but "now people have understood and seen his real face. He will has only cheated people by making false promises".
