1. Hachhek is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Mizoram and is part of Mizoram Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Hachhek falls in Mamit district and North region of Mizoram. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 23,715 voters in the seat, which includes 12,002 male voters, and 11,713 female voters. In the 2018 Mizoram elections, Hachhek recorded a voter turnout of 77.84%. In 2013 the turnout was 81.84%, and in 2008 it was 83.9%.
In 2013, Lalrinmawia Ralte of INC won the seat by a margin of 2,333 votes (13.47%). Lalrinmawia Ralte secured 45.35% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 2,617 votes (19.45%), registering 51.96% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, INC led in the Hachhek Assembly segment of the Mizoram Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
