Digvijaya Singh 'Advises' Nitish Kumar to Get Back With RJD-Congress
The senior Congress leader cautioned Kumar, claiming that the central government party would not spare him if they managed to get what they wanted.

Bhopal: AICC general secretary Digvijaya Singh, in a series of tweets on the Karnataka potboiler, advised Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to break his alliance with the BJP in Bihar and get back with the RJD, Congress.

Singh, who was in Bhopal to attend MPCC events, also lambasted the BJP on Twitter. “The freedom fighters did not take part in the struggle to see this day. In order to save the democracy, we would have to take this fight to Parliament/Assembly and on streets,” wrote Singh.

In another tweet, the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister took to task the BJP for the happenings in Karnataka. “The BJP does not care about constitution, rules, regulations and national interest, they just want to usurp power through money and want to mint money through power,” he wrote.

Singh then addressed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar saying, “You are also one of his disciples (of Jayaprakash Narayan), so would you like to remain in power with BJP’s support. Dump BJP’s support today and form a fresh government with RJD and Congress.”

The senior Congress leader cautioned Kumar, claiming that the central government party would not spare him if they managed to get what they wanted. “You always took a high moral ground, so what the BJP did in Karnataka was under the domain of morality?” Singh sought to know from Kumar.

“The public of Bihar had chosen RJD and Congress and not the BJP,” said Singh in his another advisory tweet to Kumar. “Nitish ji people like you support BJP and Modiji, so I have tweeted this to make them understand and rest it’s your decision,” wrote Singh on twitter.

Meanwhile, flaying the political developments in Karnataka, MPCC president Kamal Nath on Thursday announced a state wide protest and a protest rally from Congress office to Raj Bhavan on May 18.
