New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal will be holding an Iftar party on Sunday. Opposition leaders across parties have been invited.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been invited for Iftar by Kejriwal. Accepting Kejriwal's Iftar invitation, Mamata extended her good wishes and said TMC MP's Derek O Brien and Sukhendu Sekhar Roy would be present on her behalf.

Mamata Banerjee had put her weight behind her Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal, who had called her up for "advice" during bitter stand-off with Lt Governor Najeeb Jung over powers.

Meanwhile, Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi will also be hosting an Iftar party on Monday and allies like Lalu Prasad are giving the event a miss.
