CM Badal And Amarinder Singh Are Two Sides Of The Same Coin, says Arvind Kejriwal
"Amarinder Singh and the Badals have looted Punjab during the last 15 years and now the time is ripe to get rid of them and the people of Punjab are waiting eagerly (for it)," Kejriwal said at a rally in Mukerian.

Mukerian (Punjab): AAP's national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesdsay accused Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh of "looting the state for their personal gains."

"Amarinder Singh and the Badals have looted Punjab during the last 15 years and now the time is ripe to get rid of them and the people of Punjab are waiting eagerly (for it)," he said at a rally in Mukerian.

"The Badals during the last 10 years of misrule have amassed huge money because they had control on almost all businesses including transport, cable, mining and liquor," the Delhi Chief Minister alleged, claiming Badals had "squeezed Punjab to mint money."

"Akalis have already smelled their humiliating defeat in the forthcoming Assembly polls and have colluded with Amarinder. They are jointly contesting the Punjab Assembly polls," he claimed.

"I have learnt many hoardings (of Amarinder), which have been put up across Punjab have actually been funded by Badals," Kejriwal said. He reiterated that contracts of mining and bus permits, which Badals obtained through "misuse of power" would be taken back and be distributed to unemployed youth, once AAP is voted to power.

"So far more than 40 lakh youth of Punjab are trapped in the drug network spread by Akalis," Kejriwal alleged, adding an AAP government within a month will break the supply chain of drugs.

He assured that those addicted to drugs will be rehabilitated through rehabilitation centres at war footing within six months and will be given employment.

Hoshiarpur MLA candidate Paramjit Sachdeva, Sham Churasi candidate Ravjot Singh, Dasuya candidate Balbir Kaur Phull and Urmur candidate Jasvir Singh Raja Gill were also present. Meanwhile, in a rally at Sujanpur in Pathankot, Kejriwal alleged that both Badal and the Congress had done no actual work to improve the health and education system in Punjab.

"In the last 15 years, be it SAD-BJP or Congress, none of them have actually worked to improve the health and education system in Punjab, which have not only deteriorated but of-late has completely collapsed," he said.

AAP Punjab in-charge Jarnail Singh said the people of the state would throw away the corrupt Congress and Akalis in upcoming elections.
