Meanwhile, the UP government on Wednesday appealed to the VIPs and distinguished individuals to notify the local administration, or the Temple Trust or the state government before scheduling their visit to Ayodhya in the coming 7-10 days.

Issuing the appeal, the Yogi-led government said, “This advance notice is crucial for the convenience and comfort of all concerned, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone involved. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. Jai Jai Shri Sitaram!"

The government asked the VIPs to inform about their visit a week in advance.

Other than this, the administration has also taken special precautions for January 26, Republic Day. They are in coordination with the adjoining districts to know about the inflow of pilgrims.

Devotees have been queuing up in massive numbers outside the temple to catch glimpse of their revered deity, Ram Lalla. UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday held discussions with the security officials and the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra to ensure that necessary arrangements are being made for the safety and comfort of the devotees.

Uttar Pradesh Special ADGLO Prashant Kumar told reporters, “Principal Home Secretary and I have been sent here…We have improved the queue system for crowd management. We have made channels for the people…"

Over five lakh devotees visited Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on day one of its opening after the grand pran pratishtha ceremony on Monday.
