New Delhi: Taking a stern view of infighting in the Karnataka unit of the BJP, the party sacked key members from both camps.

According to reports, BJP state general secretary N Ravikumar has sacked state vice presidents Bhanuprakash and Nirmal Kumar Surana, both from the ES Easwarappa camp. He also removed vice president of Raitha Morcha MP Renukacharya and spokesperson G Madhusudhan who are loyal to BS Yeddyurappa.

Currently, national general secretary Muralidhar Rao is in Bengaluru trying to settle the party infighting.

When contacted, Yeddyurappa said, "I don't want to discuss anything about present development. Our president Amit Shah has already sent Muralidhar Rao, the state in charge, to judge the situation and submit the report.

“Easwarappa says I didn't call any meeting, which is false. I have already called 4 meetings....we just have target of 150 in our mind. Nothing else. That's why I don't want to discuss anything more about this issue. Let me wait till high command take its next course of action,” he added.
