Lucknow: The central government will have to find a middle path, avoiding war, to end the crisis with the neighbouring nation, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said here on Thursday.
Addressing a gathering of party workers at the La Martinere College grounds in the state capital city of Lucknow, from where his son and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav began his Samajwadi Vikas Rath Yatra, the former Defence Minister said he doesn't want a war with Pakistan, and at the same time he is concerned about the safety and security of the security forces protecting the boundaries of the nation.
Paying rich tributes to those martyred in the line of duty, the Samajwadi Party supremo suggested that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should visit the bereaved parents and families of those soldiers.
He said the Indian Army was the best and strongest in the world.
