The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2023 admit card. Those who applied for the exam can download the admit card from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The UGC NET 2023 December session will begin tomorrow, December 6, and continue till December 14. The exam will be held in 292 cities this year.
The UGC NET exam comprises 100 marks, and is a computer-based examination (CBT) that features two papers. Paper I is a general paper that applies to all disciplines and focuses on research and teaching methodologies, teaching approaches, and comprehension. In contrast, Paper II addresses the curriculum of the selected subject and is field-specific. The test will be held in two sessions, from 9 am to 12 pm., and then from 3 pm to 6 pm, for a total of 83 subjects. The UGC NET December 2023 results will be released on January 10, 2024.
UGC NET December 2023 Admit Card: Steps To Download
Step 1: Go to the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Find the link that says ‘UGC – NET December 2023 Admit Card’ and click on it.
Step 3: Click on submit after entering your login information (application number and birthdate) on the login window.
Step 4: Examine all of the information provided there.
Step 5: Download and print a copy of the UGC NET December 2023 admit card for future reference.
The UGC NET December 2023 examinations will begin with the English and History papers which will be held on December 6 in shifts 1 and 2, respectively. On December 7, shift 1 will have the commerce test, while shift 2 will have the computer science and application exam. These will be followed by the Public Administration and Philosophy examinations will be held in shift 2 on December 8. The exam for Political Science is scheduled for December 11 in shift 1, while the exam for Hindi is scheduled for shift 2.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will oversee the NET for assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions. The dates for the UGC NET examinations have been reduced for this session.
