Speaking of which, Rashi Chowdhary, a nutritionist, shared some health benefits of eating fat first in the morning and stabilising your blood sugar level.
She shares:
Eating fat of any form with a combination of carbs and protein first in the morning will help improve your irregular periods. These and Omega 3 greatly impact your hormones and create period regularities.
It also helps with IBS C or chronic constipation issues. Just mix a tbsp/tsp of good fat (any source) with your coffee (decaf), and you’ll truly be impressed by the results.
Eating fat in the morning instead of carbs will give you sustainable energy, have a clear mind, help you think fast and be more productive in the morning. This will help you utilise all the cortisol your body is producing.
If you’re hungry after waking up, have a good breakfast rich in protein and fats, and avoid carbs.
You can also replace coffee with a herbal infusion if you like something warm, you should keep changing the source of fat.
